New Mixtape: Royal – “Summer On Main St”

Hip Hop artist Royal made his debut to the music industry in 2013, the Elkton (MD) native has collaborated and performed with some of the top music artists in the industry.

His melodic-yet-smooth delivery, as well as his versatility, has caught the eye of Grammy winning producers such as D-Moet and Diplo. He has collaborated and performed alongside a variety of artists such as: Waka Flocka, Fabolous, Yo Gotti, Meek Mill, Ryan Leslie and Jonny Craig to name a few. In his hometown stories of Royal’s generosity is spoken of in a mythical tone. In May of 2018, he began donating scholarships annually to his former high school, to distribute to deserving students in need.

When asked who his musical influences are, Royal says that he pulls from Drake, Fabolous, J Cole, and The Weeknd for inspiration. ‘Dreams Come True’, which is featured by singer Jonny Craig, was Royal’s first cross-genre collaboration, but has since added to his impressive and extensive catalog.

Royal released “Summer On Main St” this week which is a compilation of songs that he recorded in his studio in Newark, Delaware named “Occupy Studio” methodically located on Main Street.

Royal teamed up with up-and-coming hip hop artist Nino Man on a song titled “Hall Of Fame”, to further proclaim their respective positions in the music industry, as well as what their contributions have meant to others. “Summer on Main St” and “Hall Of Fame” are available now on every major outlet such as: Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Amazon and more.
